Pengaruh Kompetensi Terhadap Work Engagement Dosen Dengan Makna Kerja Sebagai Mediasi

Abstract

Work engagement berperan penting dalam upaya memenuhi tri dharma perguruan tinggi bagi seorang dosen. Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengetahui besar pengaruh yang diberikan kompetensi terhadap work engagement yang dimediasi oleh makna kerja pada profesi dosen. Sebanyak 69 dosen ikut serta dalam penelitian ini. Sampel dipilih secara convenience sampling. Pengambilan data menggunakan google form yang disebar di komunitas dosen yang ada di Whatsapp dan Facebook. PLS SEM dipilih sebagai metode analisis data. Hasil Penelitian menemukan bahwa kompetensi dan makna kerja memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap work engagement. Makna kerja memediasi sebagian pengaruh kompetensi terhadap work engagement. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat dibatasi pada wilayah LLDikti tertentu saja.
