Main Article Content
Abstract
Research on the topic of foreign language anxiety is relatively limited in Indonesia. On the other hand, this topic has significantly progressed in other countries. The purpose of this study is to analyze various research on the topic of foreign language anxiety using bibliometric analysis. Bibliometric analysis is expected to uncover new perspectives for researchers in Indonesia to explore more deeply. This study employs a qualitative approach using the Dimensions database to describe the number of studies, distribution trends, collaborators, and citations of research on this topic. The results indicate that the topic of foreign language anxiety has shown an increasing trend over the years. However, most of these studies focus on learning English as a foreign language. Researchers in Indonesia are expected to provide different perspectives on this topic, especially in the context of learning Indonesian as a foreign language.
