AIMS AND SCOPES
ARTEKS: Jurnal Teknik Arsitektur is published jointly by the Widya Mandira Catholic University's Faculty of Engineering Architecture Study Program, an institution of Catholic higher education institutions, in collaboration with Indonesian Architect Association [IAI] of NTT Region, Indonesian Assisted Environment Research Association [IPBLI] and and Indonesia Writers Guild [SATUPENA RI]. It was launched in 2016 and is the longest longest architectural publication, published continuously, in the world of architectural science based in Kupang, Indonesia. Now published three times a year, ARTEKS: Jurnal Teknik Arsitektur has become widely known as one of the architectural journals indexed by SINTA 3 Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.
Journal issues range from those consisting of a selection of essays about open topics to special volumes edited by guests on a particular theme. Subjects covered include writing about individual architects, theoretical texts, design theory, architectural culture (vernacular), sustainability, technology, everyday buildings, pedagogy, visual culture, artistic practice, and urbanism. This journal also displays reviews in each edition.
All material submitted to ARTEKS : Jurnal Teknik Arsitektur is subject to rigorous peer reviews using the 'double-blind' referee process. The Editorial Board, which was enhanced by regional editors in around seven countries, welcomes contributions from all over the world. This is the express purpose of the ARTEKS : Jurnal Teknik Arsitektur to influence the future of architecture and its acceptance nationally and internationally by publishing innovative contributions to every aspect of architectural business.
