Evaluations were carried out for the existing conditions and after reinforcement using the soil nailing method and its combination with gabions. The analysis utilized Rocscience Slide software and manual calculations. Results indicate that soil nailing increased the slope safety factor from 0.998 to 2.065 under normal conditions, and from 0.708 to 1.436 under seismic conditions. The combination of soil nailing and gabions yielded better results. These findings indicate the effectiveness of slope reinforcement methods as a geotechnical solution in landslide-prone areas.
Damian Raditya Daniswara, Andre Primantyo Hendrawan, Runi Asmaranto Copyright (c) 2025 Eternitas: Jurnal Teknik Sipil https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ https://journal.unwira.ac.id/index.php/ETERNITAS/article/view/4296 Wed, 30 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0700 SDOF STRUCTURE RESPONSE DUE TO SINUSOIDAL LOADS USING NUMERICAL METHODS https://journal.unwira.ac.id/index.php/ETERNITAS/article/view/4380
Dynamic loads are types of loads that change in magnitude and/or direction with time. Structures that frequently experience dynamic loading can receive repeated (periodic) loads. This repetitive load pattern can be in the form of a graph of a sine function or cosine function, therefore the structure needs to be evaluated against dynamic loads with a sinusoidal pattern. The aim of this research is to determine the maximum response of a structure that can be modeled as a single degree of freedom system due to sinusoidal loads. The method used in this research is a numerical method. Based on the results and analysis of the response of the SDOF structure in this research, both Linear Acceleration and Average Acceleration methods show the same results. From the results and analysis it can be concluded that the greater the mass, the greater the maximum displacement produced or in other words the mass is directly proportional to the maximum displacement. This is different from stiffness, the greater the stiffness, the smaller the maximum displacement produced, or in other words, stiffness is inversely proportional to maximum displacement. Variations in mass and stiffness produce maximum velocities whose values are all negative. This shows that the maximum speed occurs in the direction opposite to the direction of the load. The speed and acceleration values for each additional mass tend to increase, while the speed values for each additional stiffness tend to decrease.

Goldelfridus Alfredo Abani, Christiani Chandra Manubulu, Wenceslaus Reinaldo Fernandez Copyright (c) 2025 Eternitas: Jurnal Teknik Sipil https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ https://journal.unwira.ac.id/index.php/ETERNITAS/article/view/4380 Wed, 30 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0700 PENGARUH ON STREET PARKING TERHADAP KINERJA RUAS JALAN MOCH. HATTA KOTA KUPANG (Studi Kasus Di Depan RSUD Prof. Dr. W.Z. Johannes) https://journal.unwira.ac.id/index.php/ETERNITAS/article/view/4385
On-street parking can affect the performance of the road section due to the reduction in the effective width of the road. This problem occurs on Jl. Moch. Hatta in front of Dr. Prof. W.Z. Johannes Hospital. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of parking on the roadside and its impact on the performance of the road section. The research method uses parking characteristic calculations such as volume, accumulation, duration, index and turnover, while the calculation of road section performance uses the PKJI 2023 method. The results of the study related to the characteristics of on-street parking obtained a parking volume on the left side of the roadside of 261 vehicles and on the right side of 248 vehicles. The highest parking index per hour on the left side of the road for motorcycles was 63% and for cars 96%, while on the right side of the road for motorcycles it was 25% and for cars 90%. These results show that the parking index is dominated by passenger car. The results of the road section performance obtained the highest traffic volume is 1,112 pcu/hour, the capacity in existing conditions is 1,776 pcu/hour with a DJ value of 0.63 (LOS C). The average speed obtained is 16.06 km/hour and the free flow speed obtained is 42.854 km/hour. The level of road service from the relationship between speed and DJ is obtained as LOS E. The effect of on-street parking on the performance of the road section is 42% to 68%. This is calculated based on two simulation condition, first condition if there only 1 sided on-street parking and the second condition if on-street parking is eliminated.
Krisantus Satrio Wibowo Pedo Copyright (c) 2025 Eternitas: Jurnal Teknik Sipil https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ https://journal.unwira.ac.id/index.php/ETERNITAS/article/view/4385 Wed, 30 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0700 PERILAKU PEMADATAN TANAH EKSPANSIF DI BAWAH STANDAR MAXIMUM DRY DENSITY (MDD) https://journal.unwira.ac.id/index.php/ETERNITAS/article/view/4398

Maria Fransiska Salu, Paulus Sianto, Krisantus Satrio Wibowo Pedo, Priseila Pentewati, Krisantos Ria Bela Copyright (c) 2025 Eternitas: Jurnal Teknik Sipil https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ https://journal.unwira.ac.id/index.php/ETERNITAS/article/view/4398 Wed, 30 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0700 ANALISIS NERACA AIR PADA DAS MANIKIN KABUPATEN KUPANG PROVINSI NUSA TENGGARA TIMUR https://journal.unwira.ac.id/index.php/ETERNITAS/article/view/4406
This study aims to analyze the annual water balance and develop a water allocation plan for the Manikin Watershed (DAS Manikin) located in Kupang Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT), Indonesia. The primary motivation for this research is the imbalance between water availability and demand, particularly during the dry season. The methodology includes the collection of climate and infrastructure data, analysis of water demand and availability, and water balance modeling using Excel and Cropwat 8 software. Reliable discharge was calculated using the FJ Mock method with an 80% probability (Q80%). The analysis revealed that the peak irrigation water demand occurs in August, reaching 0.54 l/s/ha, while the available discharge in the same month is only 0.67 m³/s, indicating a significant water deficit. This study offers technical and policy recommendations for efficient, equitable, and sustainable water management in semi-arid regions vulnerable to drought.

Keywords: water balance, irrigation demand, reliable discharge, Manikin Watershed, water allocation
Sunu Tri Nugroho, Priseila Pentewati, Robert Aris Lewo Copyright (c) 2025 Eternitas: Jurnal Teknik Sipil https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ https://journal.unwira.ac.id/index.php/ETERNITAS/article/view/4406 Wed, 30 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0700 PARADIGMA HIDUP BERSAMA RISIKO BANJIR (RUMAH PANGGUNG MALAKA) https://journal.unwira.ac.id/index.php/ETERNITAS/article/view/4445
This paper examines the coping culture of the community in Malaka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT), in responding to annual floods through the practice of stilt house construction. Although proven to be resilient against floods, stilt houses have not yet become the primary choice in housing policies and public infrastructure development. This approach is not intended as a single solution for flood risk reduction, but rather as part of a living with disaster approach, as recommended by the United Nations. This study highlights that floods are a complex phenomenon caused by natural and anthropogenic factors, and exacerbated by climate change. Based on literature review and field observations, it was found that local stilt houses made of wood and gewang leaves have eco-architectural advantages that support environmental adaptation. Although the community has started adopting modified stilt house models, government agencies still construct conventional buildings that are less adaptive to flood risks. Therefore, supportive policies are needed to preserve and develop this coping culture as part of a sustainable disaster risk management strategy.
Yulius Patrisius Kau Suni, Agustinus Haryanto Pattiraja, Goldelfridus Alberto Abani Copyright (c) 2025 Eternitas: Jurnal Teknik Sipil https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ https://journal.unwira.ac.id/index.php/ETERNITAS/article/view/4445 Wed, 30 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0700
