Author Guidelines

Authors who wish to submit manuscripts to Foribus Iustitia are required to comply with the following guidelines:

  1. The manuscript must be an original scientific work and prepared using the official article template provided by the journal.

  2. The manuscript should be written in clear, concise, and academic language.

  3. Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all data, citations, and references contained in the manuscript.

  4. The manuscript must follow the structure and formatting requirements specified by the journal.

Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should be arranged in the following order:

1. Title

  • The title should clearly reflect the content of the article.

  • It should be concise, informative, and relevant to the research topic.

2. Author Information

The manuscript should include:

  • Full name of each author;

  • Institutional affiliation (University/Institution, City, Country);

  • Corresponding author's email address.

3. Abstract

The abstract should:

  • Be written in Bahasa Indonesia;

  • Consist of 150–250 words;

  • Be presented in a single paragraph;

  • Briefly explain the background, objective, research method, findings, and conclusion;

  • Be able to stand alone without references.

An English abstract should also be provided.

4. Keywords

Provide a maximum of five (5) keywords representing the main topics discussed in the manuscript.

5. Introduction

The introduction should include:

  • Research background;

  • Research urgency;

  • Review of previous studies;

  • Research problem;

  • Research objectives.

Authors are encouraged to support the discussion with relevant scientific references.

6. Research Method

The research method must be presented in narrative form.

For Normative Legal Research, authors are expected to explain:

  • Research type;

  • Research approach;

  • Research data;

  • Data collection;

  • Data analysis.

For Empirical Legal Research, authors are expected to explain:

  • Research type;

  • Research approach;

  • Research location;

  • Research data;

  • Research subjects (respondents or informants);

  • Data collection techniques;

  • Data analysis techniques.

7. Results and Discussion

Present research findings systematically and objectively.

The discussion should analyze the findings by relating them to relevant theories and previous research.

Subsections may be added where necessary.

8. Conclusion

The conclusion should:

  • Answer the research objectives;

  • Present the main findings;

  • Provide relevant recommendations for future research or practical implementation.

9. References

All references cited in the manuscript must be listed in the References section.

The journal applies the Chicago Manual of Style, 17th Edition as its citation and bibliography style.

Formatting Requirements

Authors are required to use the official journal template.

The template specifies:

  • Times New Roman font;

  • Font sizes according to each section of the manuscript;

  • 1.5 line spacing for the main text;

  • Justified paragraph alignment.

Authors should not modify the formatting provided in the journal template.

Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted through the Online Journal System (OJS) of Foribus Iustitia.

Authors are advised to ensure that:

  • The manuscript complies with all formatting requirements;

  • All required author information has been completed;

  • The manuscript follows the prescribed article structure before submission.

Manuscripts that do not comply with these guidelines may be returned to the authors for revision prior to the peer review process.
