Irving Fisher was an American economist who is known as one of the pioneers of modern economic thought. Fisher's philosophical economic thinking is rooted in the idea of the relationship between macro and microeconomics, the importance of price stability, and the influence of the economy on human welfare. The method used in this study is a literature review and analysis, through an analysis of Irving Fisher's writings and his philosophical thoughts. This article examines Fisher's economic philosophy by highlighting his contributions to the quantity theory of money, interest rate analysis, and the relationship between economic health and productivity

Ecosophy Study on Environmental Pollution by Waste Productivity in Dili Municipality

The changes and developments that created at the beginning of the 21^st century have changed the way of life and the human mindset towards the existence of the environment. A concrete example is environmental pollution caused by improper waste disposal and management. Dili municipality can be categorized as the dirtiest city. This study aims to examine the other side of the lack of community participation in protecting the environment, namely the awareness of the importance of the reciprocal relationship between humans and the environment. The study used mixed methods in collecting and analyzing data. The results of this study show that people do not appreciate the environment as a place of interaction between living creatures which is comfortable and healthy. For this reason, the study of ecosophy in analyzing the level of waste productivity provides added value that complements the technical side of the waste management process.

Dimensi Being Dan Having dalam Tradisi Belis budaya Manggarai

The Belis tradition in Manggarai society represents a complex cultural practice in marriage with profound significance in social structure and interpersonal relations. This study aims to explore the philosophical dimensions of the Belis tradition through Gabriel Marcel's conceptual perspective on Being (existence) and Having (possession). Using a qualitative approach through literature review and philosophical analysis, this research examines how the practice of Belis represents the dynamics of intersubjectivity, existential meaning, and the transformation of cultural values within the context of marriage in Manggarai society. The focus of the study is directed toward an in-depth philosophical analysis of the meaning of Being and Having in the Belis tradition, where the practice is not merely understood as a material transaction but as a medium for expressing relationships, dignity, and subjective participation among individuals. This study will reveal how the concept of possession in Belis transcends objective dimensions and embodies intersubjective values that reflect the complexity of human relationships. The findings are expected to provide a theoretical contribution to understanding the Belis cultural practice philosophically, while also offering a new perspective on interpreting marriage traditions within Manggarai society.

Fokus tulisan ini mengeksplorasi peran seni dalam dekorasi liturgis Gereja Katolik dengan menyoroti aspek teologis dan simbolisnya, khususnya dalam konteks sakralitas ruang ibadah. Fokus utama adalah pada hubungan antara seni, simbolisme, dan pengalaman spiritual umat. Dekorasi liturgis dipahami sebagai ekspresi keindahan yang tidak hanya bersifat estetis tetapi juga mencerminkan kebenaran iman, menghadirkan suasana sakral yang mendalam. Berdasarkan analisis teologi dan studi pustaka, tulisan ini menyoroti elemen-elemen seperti warna liturgis, ikonografi, dan arsitektur yang menjadi media komunikasi simbolis antara umat dan Tuhan. Konsep seni sebagai medium sakral yang mengarahkan perhatian umat kepada misteri ilahi dikaji dalam perspektif teologis kontemporer. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa seni liturgis memperkaya dimensi estetika dan spiritual liturgi, menjadikan dekorasi liturgis sebagai bagian integral dari kehidupan liturgi Katolik yang terus relevan untuk menciptakan ruang yang sakral dan penuh makna.

fokus tulisan ini adalah menggali pandangan Martin Heidegger tentang filsafat teknologi, dengan perkembangan teknologi artificial intelligence (AI). Dalam Sein und Zeit, Haidegger melihat teknologi secara ontologis sebagai suatu cara kebenaran mengungkapkan dirinya memunculkan diri dengan cara tertentu. Martin Heidegger mengatakan bahwa teknologi bukan hanya sekumpulan instrumen atau aktivitas teknologi, melainkan juga suatu cara pengungkapan kebenaran di mana entitas dan aktivitas muncul seperti adanya. Dengan itu teknologi sebagai suatu cara penyingkapan dalam dunia di mana penyingkapan dan ketaktersembunyian berlangsung, dan kebenaran terjadi. Analisis terhadap karya filsafat teknologi Martin Heidegger membantu memahami eksistensi manusia di hadapan teknologi. Tulisan ini akan menggunakan metode kepustakaan sepenuhnya dan berotasi pada poros pemikiran Martin Heidegger, khususnya pada filsafat teknologi. Tulisan ini menemukan kontribusi Martin Heidegger dalam memahami teknologi sebagai suatu cara hidup di dalam Sein und Zeit memberikan wawasan penting dalam pemikiran filsafat teknologi yang terus relevan hingga saat ini.
