Memahami place attachment di ruang publik temporer melalui sintesis noematik-noetik

Untuk menciptakan ruang publik temporer yang berhasil dan dapat bertahan dalam menghadapi perubahan kontemporer, terutama di era pandemi yang penuh ketidakpastian ini, tingkat keterikatan masyarakat terhadap tempat tersebut (place attachment) harus dikelola. Hal ini semata-mata karena jika ruang publik semakin dibutuhkan, maka semakin banyak pengguna yang akan menggunakan ruang tersebut, sehingga rasa memiliki akan tumbuh setelahnya untuk membantu menjaga keberlanjutannya. Namun, aspek temporalitas waktu dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan place attachment seseorang. Dengan menggunakan analisis fenomenologis Husserl tentang noema dan noesis, studi kualitatif ini bermaksud untuk memahami perkembangan place attachment di salah satu ruang publik temporer yang terkenal di Indonesia yakni pasar jalanan Ramadhan, khususnya di Batam. Observasi langsung dan wawancara semi terstruktur dilakukan untuk mengumpulkan data yang berkaitan dengan kerangka teori place attachment yang diperoleh dari kajian pustaka. Studi ini mengungkapkan bahwa, melalui sintesis noematik, dimensi eksternal (karakteristik fisik) cenderung mengarah pada keterikatan fungsional atau place dependence. Sedangkan melalui sintesis noetik, keterikatan psikologis atau place identity dari ruang publik temporer dapat dipengaruhi oleh dimensi internal place attachment (interaksi sosial, kohesi sosial, dan simbol sosial).
