Abstrak

Dengan tidak adanya kejelasan kapan berakhirnya pandemi Covid-19, menuntut untuk adanya sebuah pendekatan desain baru pada konfigurasi jalur sirkulasi pada ruang terbuka publik. pendekatan desain yang dapat memecah keramaian dan membentuk ruang dengan pola kepadatan rendah dapat menjadi sebuah bentuk adaptasi baru pada tatanan serta kondisi sosial baru pasca pandemi. Oleh sebab itu, perlu dilakukan penelitian melalui simulasi terkait aspek keruangan pada konfigurasi ruang terbuka publik dan aktivitas di dalamnya, untuk melihat bagaimana benuk ruang serta elemen penunjang aktivitas dalam mewadahi kegiatan, serta memprediksi bagaimana bentuk intervensi yang sesuai dalam mewadahi aktivitas pada masa new normal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental-simulatif melalui simulasi space syntax pada jalur sirkulasi melalui perangkat DephtmapX 0.50, untuk mengidentifikasi peluang regenerasi desain baru untukmenanggapi potensi spasial wilayah perkotaan yang ada. Terlihat dari hasil simulasi space syntax bahwasannya dengan penambahan ruang aktivitas serta jalur sirkulasi baru dengan bentuk simetri yang kuat, dapat membentuk pola sebaran pengunjung yang lebih merata ke semua bagian ruang terbuka publik.
