Peer Reviewer Process

JEPWIRA: Jurnal Ekonomi Pembangunan Widya Mandira implements a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality and validity of published research. This process employs the double-blind method, guaranteeing anonymity for both authors and reviewers. Experts in the relevant fields conduct reviews, assessing submissions based on their scientific significance, innovation, and relevance to the journal's objectives.

The publication process begins with an initial assessment by the editorial team, who evaluate the manuscript's consistency with the journal's focus and publication standards. Manuscripts are rejected if they fail to meet criteria or exhibit more than a 20% similarity with other works. Following this, at least two independent reviewers are selected to assess the manuscript's scholarly rigor, novelty, validity, and relevance. Reviewers provide detailed feedback to the authors, who are required to make revisions within two weeks for minor changes and four weeks for major revisions. The final editorial decision is made by the editor-in-chief based on reviewer feedback, aiming to provide an initial decision within one month and to publish accepted manuscripts within 4-8 weeks of acceptance. Accepted manuscripts undergo final formatting and editing before publication.
