The Journal Pendidikan Biologi (JBIOEDRA) was first published in 2023 by the Biology Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Katolik Widya Mandira, Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. The journal was established to provide a platform for researchers and practitioners in the fields of Biology and Biology Education to publish their research findings, studies, and innovations.
Since its inception, JBIOEDRA has been committed to maintaining scientific quality and integrity through a rigorous and objective review process. In 2023, JBIOEDRA began to be published regularly with two issues per year, in March and October, to ensure the consistent and up-to-date dissemination of information in the fields of Biology and Biology Education.
In 2024, JBIOEDRA began collaborating with educational institutions in East Nusa Tenggara to expand its reach and impact within the academic and professional community. This collaboration also enabled JBIOEDRA to enhance the visibility and accessibility of published articles through various indexing platforms.
Since 2023, JBIOEDRA has been indexed by Google Scholar, Garuda, and DOAI, marking recognition of the journal's quality and contribution to the fields of Biology and Biology Education. The journal continues to strive to improve publication standards and expand its network of reviewers and authors from various institutions worldwide.
